At Chattanooga Gas, we believe there is more than a good way to do business; there is a right way. One of the ways we give back to the communities we live in and serve is by helping those who might need assistance in paying their natural gas bills — particularly in these challenging times.
Dial 211 for the United Way Human Services hotline, and they can work with you to get assistance from various programs, including:
- First Call for Help
- Human Services
- Ladies of Charity
- The Salvation Army
- Northside Neighborhood House
- Metropolitan Ministry
- Hamilton County Social Services
LIHEAP, the federal Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program in Chattanooga helps income-eligible people with natural gas bills. Even if you qualified for LIHEAP last year, you still must reapply. For application locations, call 423-757-5524 or 423-757-5227.
