Consumer Credit Counseling Service

United Way

Dial 211 for the United Way Human Services hotline, and they can work with you to get assistance from various programs, including:

  • First Call for Help
  • Human Services
  • Ladies of Charity
  • The Salvation Army
  • Northside Neighborhood House
  • Metropolitan Ministry
  • Hamilton County Social Services

LIHEAP The federal Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) in Chattanooga helps income-eligible people with natural gas bills. The LIHEAP will be open until June 15, 2009, or until program funds have been exhausted. Even if you qualified for LIHEAP last year, you still must reapply.
