AutoDraft: Pay Automatically by Bank Draft
Stop Writing Checks: Enroll in our AutoDraft Plan. You pay your bill automatically each month through direct debit from your bank account. It's fast and secure - and free to enroll and use. Chattanooga Gas is making it even easier and more convenient for our customers to pay their natural gas bills. Download the mail-in application.

Pay by Mail
Most customers prefer to pay their Chattanooga Gas bills by mail, using the handy return envelope enclosed with their monthly bill. If you have misplaced the return envelope, place your check and payment stub in your own envelope and mail it to:

Pay by Phone
Use Western Union® Speedpay® to process your payment 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Call 1-866-448-8557and follow the prompts. You also may opt to speak to a customer service representative. Your credit card statement will show “866-383-1846GAS UTILIT.” Western Union Speedpay charges a $3.95 convenience fee.

When paying your natural gas bill by phone you can use your checking or savings account, debit/ATM or Visa, MasterCard or Discover card.

Pay In Person

  • At Western Union® Agent® Locations - You can now send bill payments at participating Western Union Agent locations. Western Union charges a $1 convenience fee. Payments will post to your account in two business days. For a list of locations, call 1-800-354-0005.
Budget Payment Plan With our Budget Payment Plan we bill you the same amount every month for the next 12 months. This eliminates the "peaks and valleys" in your natural gas bill caused by winter's cold and summer's heat, making household budgeting much easier.  Here's how the plan works:
  • We estimate your natural gas usage for the next 12 months, based on your past usage.
  • We divide that amount by 12 to determine your monthly payment.
  • We review your plan quarterly to make sure your budget amount is keeping pace with your actual usage. In August, we'll  adjust your monthly amount as needed for the coming payment year.
