Understanding Your Bill

Customer Bill Explanation

  1. Account Information – all the key account information regarding your natural gas bill such as account number, next scheduled reading date, name/service address, total amount due, due date, customer service contact number, service period, meter readings, CCF used, BTU factor, and therms used.

  2. Charges & Payments – details payments received, outstanding balance, gas used, and total charges this period.

  3. Important Messages – outlines varies information such as customer rate codes, late payment charges, energy assistance, and budget billing.

  4. Monthly Usage Comparison – shows the average monthly usage for the billing period this year compared with the same period last year.

  5. Remittance – a portion of the bill that is sent with payment.
