In a heartwarming celebration of her dedication to volunteerism, servant leadership, and community enrichment, Tiffany Callaway Ferrell, Chattanooga Gas’ vice president of operations, has been honored with the prestigious Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award.
Presented by the One Million Dreams Foundation for Entrepreneurship, this award underscores the significance of hard work, commitment, and the profound positive impact one can have on their industry and communities.
During the program in Atlanta, Callaway Ferrell acknowledged her family, friends, and colleagues for their roles in fueling her passion to be a driving force for positive change. She also emphasized her long-standing commitment to helping those who needed support the most.
“I am truly honored to receive this award. Engaging in mentorship, community outreach programs, and volunteerism events has always been a part of my DNA,” said Callaway Ferrell. “I am extremely proud to be part of a company and a talented team whose giving spirit continues to shine a light on critical issues important to our neighbors. Through our collective volunteerism, we can improve the health and well-being of individuals across the communities where we live, work and serve.”
Callaway Ferrell’s contributions have totaled more than 6,000 hours in areas such as mentorship, advocacy and community development. Her focus has left a lasting positive impact on countless lives throughout our hometown communities.
In a letter from former President Biden, he said, “On behalf of the American people, I extend my heartfelt appreciation to you for your volunteer leadership, and I encourage you to continue to answer the call to serve. The country is counting on you.”

In 2024, Chattanooga Gas employees continued to strengthen neighborhoods and empower people through volunteerism and community support. Their willingness to serve not only Chattanooga Gas’ 72,000 customers but also go the extra mile is felt throughout the company’s operations and in its neighborhoods.
