Chattanooga Gas employees recently donated their time and talents to help make the journey to homeownership more meaningful for a Hamilton County resident. In collaboration with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga Area, team members spent the day painting both the interior and exterior of a single-family home, bringing the finishing touches to a space that will soon be filled with new memories.
Habitat Chattanooga works with low-income families who might not otherwise have the opportunity to afford a home, connecting them with volunteers whose efforts help strengthen communities and improve quality of life.

For Chattanooga Gas volunteers, the project was more than a day of service, it was a chance to come together, give back and play an important role in something truly life-changing. Their efforts helped transform a house into a home, offering comfort, stability and a fresh start for a local family.
Since 1986, the nonprofit has assisted families through new construction, home repair and aging-in-place programs, helping make Chattanooga a better place for all.
In support of this mission, Chattanooga Gas is proud to serve not only as an energy provider, but as a dedicated community partner, working alongside organizations like Habitat for Humanity to help build more resilient neighborhoods and brighter futures.
